Tonight was our second dinner visit since the reboot. Everything was great! Food, Service & Atmosphere! Our waitress, Jennie, was very thoughtful & made the evening special. FYI... I have to admit that I have a special place in my heart for The Grand Saloon. As a lifelong Clifton resident I used to coordinate large gatherings here with friends & fellow Clifton graduates for many years. It was painful to watch it decline. However the manager & new owners have taken a falling star & renewed it in an amazing way! The renovations brightened the place up without taking away it's old spirit. It has a new life! The atmosphere is updated but you can see & feel how the original look was honored. If your like me & miss the Grand Saloon, It's time to come back home! It's new but honors the old. The food & drinks I've had so far have been great! Hope to see old friends there again soon.

I’ve been going to Grande Saloon for years, and have hung in there through all the ups and downs (Covid, renovations etc) . So glad because this little spot deserves to continue on! It has a nice, neighborhood feel, and great food and drinks. Their specials are always yummy, and the bartenders are awesome. Special shout out to Dave who makes one of the best Old fashioneds, as well as whipping up original specialty cocktails, based on what You like. I highly recommend Grande Saloon, just save me a seat at the bar!
I visited The Grand Saloon for the first time last night. I want to say that this bartender, Dave (I think) was unbelievable! Incredible cocktails made with care, knowledgeable & really nice to talk to. I will definitely be back for more of Dave!
Literally the BEST New England clam chowder ever!!! Other favorites are the bacon avocado grilled cheese and the cheesesteak...but you can't go wrong with the food. Everything is always great! And Dave makes the BEST drinks!!! His Old Fashion never disappoints!!!
This was a Sunday dinner visit and we found ample seating in a cozy setting. Our server was attentive and accommodating. The chef even customized a sauce to fit our needs. The vegetables were steamed and fresh. I highly recommend the salmon and the chicken. Are other guests who dined with us said the burger was very good.
This past weekend, we celebrated my Mother's 80th Birthday at The Grand Saloon. Living in Florida, I had to plan remotely which I thought would be difficult, but thanks to Carlos, it was a breeze! Communication from the very beginning was stellar and he went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and put my mind at ease. On the day of the party, he allowed my family members to arrive early to set up the room and the wait staff jumped in to help. Everything from start to finish was flawless, the food was delicious, the drinks were flowing and the staff was INCREDIBLE!!! A giant THANK YOU to everyone at The Grand Saloon for making her Birthday extra special!!! You guys are THE BEST!!!
I hosted a small celebration for my son's first communion, with a reservation for approximately 34 people. We had the option to choose between a catering menu and a prix fixe menu; I selected the catering menu, and the food was delicious. I would rate it 10 out of 10. The service and staff members were outstanding. Communication with the manager was easy, and they were very helpful and flexible in making things happen. The price was reasonable compared to other restaurants. I would recommend this place 100%. It was clean and had a friendly atmosphere. We had a great time!
Cute spot. Easy to make a reservation. Super clean. Small menu with great choices. Specials available on different days of the week. Their saloon burger is great. Lots of good draft beer and cocktail choices.
Dave makes amazing drinks with incredible attention to detail, always tailored to what you like. They really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and their friendliness really sets this place apart. The food is fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious.
